An Eventful Week

It has been a week full of fun. Oddly enough I didn't have my camera to document most of it. On Monday we went to the park with Jana and Dax. It was too hot to play long but Shelby and Dax had fun for a little bit.
On Tuesday me and my sis Alysia took the kids to this cute little splash park in South Ogden. It was perfect for little kids and it is so nice to be by water when it is this hot!
On Wednesday we met up with Tucker's cousin Michele and her daughter Samantha. They are in town from California, we went to the Roy Aquatic Center. Shelby is in love with Samantha and I really enjoy spending time with them.
On Thursday we met up with Michele and Samantha again and went to the Treehouse. We love our membership there! After the Treehouse we went to lunch at Chili's and I had one of my most embarrassing parenting moments ever... It was nap time so I suppose I am partly to blame. We got our food and started eating and about half way into it Keaton bonked his head on the table so he started crying so loud (which is fine, this I was not embarrassed about.) For some reason, me holding Keaton put Shelby in crazy girl mode and she started going loco. She was hitting me and Keaton and screaming at the top of her lungs. So visualize two screaming kids, one of them also on a rampage...not a pretty picture. Everyone was avoiding eye contact, we cleared out our section of the restaurant, it was so bad. We got out of there pretty quick, thank goodness. That night I dropped Shelby off with Tucker's mom because they took her to Idaho for a few days.
On Friday I woke up to another delightful parenting moment. Keaton had managed to take off his stinky diaper(which he has never done in his life) and got it everywhere. It was all over his body, his bed and the worst his mouth. So gross!! I put him right in the tub and did a major scrub down. We went to breakfast with Dianna because it was her birthday. I don't get to see her nearly enough and it was good to catch up. We also went to the park with Alysia, Cheryce and all the kids.
On another note my parents got Rock Band for the Wii. It is so much fun. Me and Alysia have been playing it and might I say we are pretty awesome...j/k. OK I am not kidding, we really are awesome :) Keaton likes it too.

I asked Shelby what she was doing and she said "reading of course." I thought it was so adorable. She is such a smartie.

Look What I Can Do!

This is the biggest gummy grin ever!

So Keaton is finally crawling. He certainly does things on his own agenda. Which is fine, I have never felt the need to push him about it. Life takes on a whole new meaning when you have to re-babyproof a whole house. He already fell down 5 stairs the other night. I was so sad, he had a bruise on the side of his face.

He was so proud of himself when he first started crawling and realized he could finally pull everything down that he has always wanted to!

A Delayed Tag...

I was tagged a little big ago by my cousin Christina and am now getting around to it. You all might be slightly disturbed about the following pics. This tag is about taking pics of my house as it looks right now. No moving stuff, no cheating.

#1 The kitchen sink. Ok, thats not to bad. Pretty much there is never a time that I dont have dishes in my sink.

#2 The toilet. It's the kids bathroom and since neither of them are potty trained it's not to bad.

#3 The Laundry Room. FYI, those are clean clothes in the basket. :)

#4 The inside of my fridge.

#5 What your kids and hubby are doing right now. The kids are sleeping so I am not going to sneak in there and Tucker is working.

#6 A pic of my favorite Shoes. Love my trusty flip flops.

#7 My favorite room. This room is always the biggest disaster but I love it!! Shelby and Keaton love to play with each other down here.

#8 My closet. This is gross. I hate all of my clothes right now.

#9 What is your dream vacation...Anything tropical.

#10 What you look like right now. Blahbity, blah, blah blah.

I tag Jana, Lana, Alison, Alysia and Morgue. Also anyone else who is brave enough...

Happy Birthday Cheryce!

This week was Cheryce's 30th birthday!! We all went down to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate. It was lots of fun. Tucker had the kids so I was actually able to enjoy dinner. I was excited to go there because last time I was there was in Seattle and we waited over THREE hours to eat and they were out of everything so I dont even count that. The food was yummy. There were so many choices. Anyway, Cheryce is a wonderful big sis and I love her!
**Sorry about the bad pics, they are from my phone**

***Warning, Picture Overload***

Tucker and I just got back from the most amazing vacation to Hawaii. We are getting great use out of my travel benefits!! This is all about our journeys so read on if you would like.

We left Friday May 30th and stayed the night in Oakland. (I was bawling like a baby when I dropped off the kids. I have never even came close to leaving them this long.) We left the next morning and we got into Oahu around 11am. We checked into our hotel and our room was this dingy, dirty thing. So I called the front desk and they upgraded us to an incredible room with an even more incredible view. I could have sat on our balcony the entire trip. It was truly mezmorizing to have such a view of the ocean and city.
Our hotel was gorgeous. One of the best things was that it had live music every night by the pool. It was right on the main street so from our balcony you could see everything going on below. There were street dancers, live statues, street bands etc. That first night we just relaxed by the ocean enjoying the sights.

The next day was our 4 year anniversary. What a perfect place to spend it. We did my favorite thing that day...Slept in for my first time in probably a year and a half :) We went shopping, hung out by the pool. We had the BEST dinner that night. It was a buffet at our hotel with the live music in the background. The weather was perfect and so was everything else. It's been a crazy four years of marriage together and I wouldnt change a thing about it.
The next day we went to Hanauma Bay and went snorkling. Tucker loved it. He had never done anything like so it was so fun. We saw a bunch of big tropical fish and all sorts of coral, schools of fish and other sea life. That place is the best to snorkle. You really dont realize how many fish are swimming right around you in the ocean.
On Tuesday we switched hotels. For some reason the package I got through my work had us switching. It was just a block away. It ended up turning out great because it was fun to see another hotel and we had a stunning view again. We did some more shopping, more good eating, more walking on the beach and relaxing.
The rest of the time was just spent by the ocean and enjoying our time there. It was great to see the kids again. They had a great time with my mom and dad, Morgan and Cheryce, Jeff and the girls. I already want to go back to Hawaii. Hmmm....Mom and Dad are you up for it???
