The before and after

We took Shelby to get her first real haircut on Monday. I have trimmed her hair before but never taken much off. It was getting long and stringy so we needed to cut it. We went to a cute place in Layton called Snip-It's. They did a great job and Shelby loved it. I about went into shock over the $15.99 price tag but it was worth it!

Such a big girl!

I love it!

Good times at the carnival.

Daddy and Shelby

Look at that monkey!

Mommy and Shelby

Cutie pie with her glasses.
Shelby's school had another fun Carnival yesterday. They had a ton of blow-up toys that they had rented. We went with grandma and grandpa Steed and the kids had a blast! I was so surprised how good Shelby did. She was climbing up all the obstacles and everything. I was so proud of her! They didn't have one specifically for little kids so Keaton got bounced around a bit. The greatest part of it all was the snow cone I got...Yum!

My mom put together the most fun girls night out ever! I had been looking forward to it for months! First we all met up and got awesome pedicures. They had a ton of chairs so we were all able to get them done at the same time. We got a fully body glare from a girl there who did not appreciate our conversation about LOVING the smell of rubber cement, gasoline, glue etc. I ask you, doesn't everyone love those things?? It was so funny! Next we went to Paradise Cafe for dinner. It was great food. Then we went to the musical Wicked!!! I was really excited about this and I was the only one that hadn't seen it yet. I am officially in love with it! The music was so good, the singing was amazing and they did a great job acting. I am already scheming on where I can see it again. It was a great night with my mom, sisters and sis in laws! We always have lots of good laughs. Thanks mom for the fabulous night!

Happy Easter!

Shelby all dressed up

Loving the chocolate

The Easter bunny brought them this cute set.

I love this picture of Keaton carrying his loot inside.

Keaton and grandpa practicing snowmobiling!

I hope everyone had a fun and happy Easter! We had a wonderful Easter this year. On Friday night we went over to the Steeds and had a lot of fun coloring eggs. Saturday was my family's Easter egg hunt. My parents did an excellent job as always and we had the first hot dog BBQ of the year. On Sunday the Easter bunny came to our house and Shelby was so excited. She loved running around and finding her basket and all the candy. Oh the candy, it is unreal how much we have...Anyone care for any?

Isn't that water amazing??

Me and my parents had been planning to go on a trip to Hawaii on another airline. The day before we were supposed to go I found out the flights were all over booked. So what could we do? Go to Aruba! We flew on Jetblue so I was able to see how the flights were looking which was nice. Aruba is so gorgeous. I recommend it to anyone! We took the red-eye out on Wednesday night and got there on Thursday afternoon then checked into our beautiful hotel. We went right out by the pool to lay out and look at the amazing water. We walked into town a little bit and ate dinner at a yummy place called Iguana Cantina. My dad ate a huge burrito about the size of a small child. We walked back on the beach and watched the sunset over the ocean. So beautiful! The next day we did some major relaxing and then took the bus into town and did some shopping at the flea market. That night we went to dinner at Smoky Joes, a Caribbean food place. We walked home on the beach again and stopped to listen to some live music. It was perfect! On Saturday we relaxed by the ocean and pool again and had to leave to the airport by 10:30am. It was so very nerve-racking getting home but we made it. I even had an incident with customs for trying to bring in "contraband" into the US. It was quite funny. It was a fabulous mini-vacation and wanted to say thanks to my parents for all the fun! AND, thanks to Tucker and his mom for taking such wonderful care of the kids and supporting my travel addiction. :)

The sunset was so beautiful

There were quite a few iguana's and lizards running around.

I was lovin' the panoramic's while I was down there.
