First week of January 2015

Keaton got this spooky hoodie for Christmas and loves it.
Chloe loves to snuggle up with her boys.
I thought it was funny that Seymore was walking along the fence.
We went to Cheryce's for dinner and Nash found Chloe's pink vest.
Shelby got struck again by sickness.  She tested positive for influenza A and again worried me.  She didn't move off of the couch for days.  She was so ill.  She had to miss the first 3 days of school coming back from break.
She has been doing breathing treatments at home and is finally doing better.
Chloe and I rode the train at the mall.

New Years Eve 2014

I wanted to make New Year's Eve more fun for the kids.  We never really have plans so we just had Michele and Samantha stay over and Debby, Richard and Di stopped by.
I made these fun bags to open every hour.  The kids made it until 11pm before I sent them to bed.

Michele is so cute and sassy!
Tucker also rocks these glasses!

Last week of 2014

The kids had fun playing with their new toys.
Keaton got this really fun engineering toy.  You built circuits and make sounds and fans move, etc.
A couple days after Christmas Shelby got really sick and ended up needing to go to Primary Children's.  We stayed in the ER for about 8 hours and then we were able to go home.  She had severe vomiting and gets dehydrated very quickly.  Her heart rate was high.  That girls makes me nervous sometimes.  Poor Keats got a mild version of it but was able to recover quickly.
I saw this gingerbread temple at the hospital and thought it was pretty cool.
After the kids felt better we went and saw Big Hero Six with Michele and Samantha.  It was a cute movie.

Christmas 2014

I definitely missed my mom and dad this Christmas, but they are doing so much good in Uganda and are right where they need to be.  We decided to still do our candlelight Christmas Eve dinner.  I didn't take any pictures so I grabbed these from Morgan's blog.

The dinner was yummy.  After dinner we played Christmas bingo and Family Feud.  We opened gifts and then went to Tucker's aunt Elaine's.
More yummy food and visiting.  The kids had fun watching Happy Feet.
Our elf Buddy went back to the North Pole.
 Santa came!!
The kids slept until after 8:00!  We have been pretty lucky so far.
Chloe was a little bit slower coming up.

Michele and Samantha also slept over on Christmas Eve and celebrated the morning with us.  Samantha got horribly sick in the morning so they left pretty early.
We also were able to Skype with my parents on Christmas morning so that was definitely a highlight for us.
I decided that I wanted to make the kids quillows.  My grandma had made me one when I was younger and I loved it.  I think they turned out cute.

We spent Christmas night with the Steeds.  It was a great night with even more yummy food and great company.

More December Fun

Basketball games started.  The kids love it.

We went to the School for the Deaf and Blind's Christmas party and met up with Shelby's old friends.
We did one of our favorite traditions...Polar Express night!
 Ticket's please!

We went to Arctic Circle...get it?  Arctic...

We drove around for a few hours and found lots of pretty lights.
We semi-adopted a stray cat that we named Seymore.  He is an outside cat but Tucker loves to snuggle with him sometimes.
I helped with Shelby's Christmas party.  Crazy fourth graders!

Our favorite people came into town.  Michele and Samantha!

Gingerbread Houses

We were missing my mom's gingerbread house night but Debby was kind enough to get houses for all of the grandkids.  The kids had a blast.

Chloe ate most of it...I think most of the kids did.
 Ngoc Lan and Jeremy
 Grandma and Keaton
Everyone's finished houses!
